Sydney is famous for its beaches, but not all are suitable for the little people in our lives. So here's a list of our favourite beaches, where you can take toddlers for a splash and a day of sand castle building!
This hidden gem has an awesome park, picnic facilities and of course the beach! The kiosk/cafe is a bit of a hike from the park/beach so you can't leave the kids unattended whilst you duck off to grab a coffee.
These baths are gorgeous and perfect for little people, but you do have to pay an entrance fee. We recommend visiting mid week as quite often on weekend the place is packed with locals and bigger kids doing beach safety courses.
When visiting the above beaches, we recommend that you arrive early to find a car spot close by, and also to avoid the heat of the middle of the day. Make sure you slip, slop and slap everyone in the family - sunscreen, hats and rashies! Take plenty of water and also snacks. And have a look at Surf Life Saving's Beach Safe website to check if the beach is patrolled or not, and also what the conditions are like!
