Toddler Friendly Beaches in Sydney

Sydney is famous for its beaches, but not all are suitable for the little people in our lives. So here's a list of our favourite beaches, where you can take toddlers for a splash and a day of sand castle building!

Balmoral Beach

This is a hugely popular beach, so our advice is to either arrive early in the morning or late in the evening, so that you can nab a car spot as well as decent patch of sand.

When visiting the above beaches, we recommend that you arrive early to find a car spot close by, and also to avoid the heat of the middle of the day. Make sure you slip, slop and slap everyone in the family - sunscreen, hats and rashies! Take plenty of water and also snacks. And have a look at Surf Life Saving's Beach Safe website to check if the beach is patrolled or not, and also what the conditions are like!
