Is Your Child Starting School in 2026?
The Pre-K Project prides itself in offering our community of preschool-aged children an opportunity to develop confidence and independence for the start of their big leap to Kindergarten.
A Family Daycare, Gabriella aims to foster resilience, social, emotional, literacy and numeracy skills which are the foundation for a successful start to big school.
Her programs nurture the individual child by offering a selection of creative, hands-on experiences that aim to enrich children's love for learning and intrinsic desire to imagine, belong and thrive.
Our
School Readiness Program aligns with outcomes from
The Early Years Learning Framework and will build skills to expose children to the Mathematics and English Early Stage 1 Kindergarten Curriculum.
When children are given an opportunity to explore, grow in academic confidence and become curious individuals in the early years, a lifelong love for learning is established. Gabriella aims to nurture individuals who take risks, problem solve, learn from challenging questions, develop a sense of autonomy and foster resilience as they would face throughout their schooling years.
As a local mum of 3, and teacher Gabriella understands the importance of educating young children in a stimulating, and positive environment. We aim to develop confident learners with weekly sessions that are catered to providing small groups of preschoolers with the skills they need to thrive in Kindergarten.
Programs are catered to individual learners, and even in the smallest of School Readiness tutoring sessions, lessons are differentiated to suit each learner. We pride ourselves in offering programs that are based on the needs of the preschooler. Family, and current evidence-based practice.
Days of operation are Monday and Tuesday 7:30am-3:30pm.
The Pre-K Project is part of the Waverley Family Daycare Scheme and families can claim CCS.
Program includes: breakfast, morning tea, literacy and numeracy studies, language (Italian) opportunities for outdoor and indoor play and fostering children’s social and emotional readiness.
