Calling all fans of The Hunger Games, have you heard the news? The Hunger Games: The Exhibition is coming to Sydney.

Perhaps not one for the little kids, but if you're up for a Mums day out, head to Sydney’s International Convention Centre from 20 December 2016, for a chance to embrace the movie series you know and love, in a completely new and interactive way.

The Hunger Games: The Exhibition is a touring exhibition, which travels to Australia direct from San Francisco.

Sydney Crochet Club will host two very special kids crochet classes during the spring holidays that are perfect for children who would love to learn a new hobby.
The Newtown Crochet Club meets weekly to learn crochet, meet other local mums, and have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along!
“The exhibition offers visitors an unparalleled experience, bringing them inside the world of Panem,” says Jenefer Brown, Lionsgate Senior Vice President of Location Based Entertainment.

This is a unique opportunity to see with your own eyes, over 1000 items that were used in the making of The Hunger Games. See Katniss Everdeen's 'Girl on Fire' dress, the Mockingjay dress and the Mockingjay armor, the Mockingjay pin, Cinna’s sketchbook, Katniss’s bow and lots more.

The exhibition is split into seven galleries including District 12, Tribute Train, The Capitol, Making the Games, District 13, Fan Gallery and Katniss’s Journey from humble beginnings to The Mockingjay.

You'll also get to experience an interactive map of Panem, the Gamemaker’s control table and a stunt choreography challenge.

Do you want to learn how to knit? Or have recently started and would like to meet some new friends to share your creativity with, all while having a good chat? Sydney Knitting Club has classes for you.

All the fun begins on 20 December 2016 when the The Hunger Games: The Exhibition opens for the first time, after which you have until 4 February 2017 to see the exhibition.

Book your tickets as soon as possible, it is expected to be an epic success if the United States exhibition tour is anything to go by. Tickets go on sale via Ticketek on 13 September, 2016.

Are you ready to volunteer as tribute to be one of the first to experience The Hunger Games: The Exhibition in Australia? May the odds be ever in your favour...
