Applications for SYO 2021 are open and they want YOU to join them.

Did you know…Sydney Youth Orchestras (SYO) is the state’s NUMBER 1 training ground for future professional musicians, and offers a weekly training program in classical music education for musicians aged 6 to 24?

SYO is an organisation dedicated to the advancement, support and wellbeing of young people who are passionate about music.

For almost 50 years, SYO has been the engine room of excellence and produced some of Australia’s finest musicians, educators and lovers of classical music. Applications are now open for 2021!

Various scholarship opportunities, including regional places
Some of the best music educators and artistic staff in NSW
A robust training framework that includes workshops with esteemed professional musicians
