The SYO Summer School program combines high level music making, creativity, exploration and personal development. Grouped according to their age and skill, the program caters for all ages between 6-17 years and all AMEB levels, right up to grade 8.
Taking place from Monday, 6th January to Friday, 10th January 2020, the program is the ideal space for students to make new, like-minded friends and have fun during the holidays.
Applications close Friday, 6th December, so get your application in now!
Students will take part in choir rehearsals, large ensemble playing, masterclasses, tutorials, music theory sessions - even games!
The week culminates with ensemble showcases and concerts to highlight the weeks achievements in a concert at Verbrugghen Hall at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
There is also a HSC Preparatory Program for students in years 11 and 12, plus scholarships for students residing more than 200km away from Sydney CBD.
