Get ready to unleash your inner animator at the Sydney Opera House as we embark on an epic three-day journey into the quirky realm of stop-motion animation. You'll learn how to conjure up your own imaginative characters and entire worlds using random bits and bobs you can find around the house. It's like being a crafty magician, but instead of pulling a rabbit out of a hat, you'll be making inanimate objects shimmy and shake on screen.

This workshop is all about having a blast while spinning yarns visually. Kids will get their hands dirty—and possibly a little sticky—as they create their own animations and pick up some nifty skills they can use to keep the creativity bubbling at home. We'll provide a film set and some materials, but make sure every budding Spielberg comes equipped with a smartphone or tablet to document their cinematic feats. So, if you've ever wanted to see a potato become a star, this is your chance.
