Stabbing pain

Hi.
I would like your thoughts. I get stabbing pain, and pain similar to being poked with toothpicks. The pain then spreads down my face and I can feel tingling, numbness and occasionally this is coupled with pain that shoots from my lips. It started on one side of my face, but I now get it on both sides of the face.

I can find it difficult to talk and I can select the wrong word at times and I feel my memory is affected. It can spread down my left arm and it can feel weaker or tingles.

I work in a stressful job, there is no doubt, but I am not particularly stressed at the moment. I've tried talking to my GP and have had a CT scan and MRI and both are fine, but I feel at a loss as to what to do now. Any advice or thoughts? What would you do?
