School holidays: Creative coding masterclass 12-16yrs

There's a creative coding masterclass on offer at the Darling Square Library Makerspace for those aged between 12 and 16. Apparently, this isn't your average 'make a spreadsheet do sums' kind of coding. Instead, it's all about getting a bit artistic with algorithms, turning lines of code into something visually cool and perhaps a little bit unexpected. Think of it as teaching a computer to paint, but you're the one giving the instructions.

It's suitable for anyone keen to give it a go, regardless of whether they know their 'if' statements from their 'else' statements, or if they're already dabbling in digital wizardry. The idea is that by the time you're done, you'll have created a unique digital artwork to print and take home. You can find this happening on July 17, 2025, at Levels 1 and 2, The Exchange, 1 Little Pier Street, Haymarket.
