School Holiday Technology Workshops at Australian Immersive Education Academy

Meet new friends, learn new skills and have fun with disruptive technology these school holidays!

Are your children interested in virtual reality, design and coding or artificial intelligence? If so, they will LOVE learning more at an Australian Immersive Education Academy (AIEA) summer school holiday workshop.

AIEA is a not-for-profit organisation that provides Virtual Reality and other disruptive technology based learning programs around NSW.


AIEA's school holiday programs aim to democratise disruptive technologies and equip the next generation with knowledge and skills for the future job market. They are also fun and an opportunity to make new friends!



You can use the Creative Kids Voucher on all AIEA's programs, and there are three school holiday workshops coming up in January. These are:

3D Design and Coding with Advanced Virtual Reality

WHEN: Computer Lab, Green Square Library, 355 Botany Road, Zetland
WHERE: Friday 17th January 10.30am-4.30pm

This workshop will help participants to gain an in-depth understanding of the spatial computing technologies - Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality, including what they are, why they are important, and how they relate to everybody.

Participants will also gain the essential coding skills, as the young creators and makers, to leverage these technologies to create the next-gen 3D websites, visual arts, animated stories and games that can be experienced in Virtual Reality.



School Holiday AI Camp Day 1: Machine Learning and Self-driving Car

WHEN: Monday 20th January 10.30am-4.30pm
WHERE: Anything Room (Level 5) Green Square Library, 355 Botany Road, Zetland

Book one or both days of this 2-day school holiday camp.

Tweens and teens aged 10-18 years old will not only unveil the myth of Artificial Intelligence, but also learn to harness its superpower to be the creators and leaders of the future.

The first day equips participants with the essential knowledge and skills on the Future of Art Generation, AI-Based Personal Computing and Self-driving Car with a playful, hands-on approach. Read about day 2 below!

You can either book one day or both days. 10% discount will be applied if you book both days.

School Holiday AI Camp Day 2: Machine Learning and Bush Firefighting Robot

WHEN: Tuesday, 21st January 10.30am-4.30pm
WHERE: Anything Room (Level 5) Green Square Library, 355 Botany Road, Zetland

The second day of this highlights the application of robotics and artificial intelligence on fighting with bush fires, save people's lives. The workshop introduces the skills and knowledge in creating such firefighting intelligent robots.
