Presented by Sydney Living Museums, bring the family along to Rouse Hill House & Farm for a day of fun and nostalgia on Sunday 12th August.

Throughout the day, you can:

Try your hand at a range of old-fashioned activities and games including kite flying, jumping sacks and vintage lawn sports.

Experience farm life with their farmer, who will teach you how to feed the cows and ride a Shetland pony.

Get up close and personal with the baby animals at the petting farm and see the sheep shearing show.

Take a sneak peek inside Rouse Hill House and experience the 1880s schoolhouse with schoolmistress Mrs Fox.

For some quiet time, sit back and relax with storybook readings under the fig tree or get crafty at their tinkering station with printed materials.

In-between activities, shop from a hand-picked selection of market stalls selling high quality children’s merchandise including Sydney Living Museum’s pop-up shop. You can also pack a home crafted picnic or enjoy a bite to eat from one of the many food vendors selling traditional country fare.

Tickets: General $6 (adults & children), Family $20 and Sydney Living Museums Members $4. Additional charges may apply for onsite activities such as the pony rides and Rouse Hill House & Farm in LEGO Bricks. Book your tickets here.
