A brand new Australian orchestral story told by Justine Clarke.

A little magpie is blown from her nest and lands on the edge of a suburban oval. All she can remember is something she heard, something big, loud and beautiful...

Mimi’s Symphony  is a brand new story inspired by ‘Peter and the Wolf’ where children will encounter different animals represented by sections of the orchestra.

Guided by Play School’s very own Justine Clarke, children will help Mimi the magpie navigate the suburbs and bring everyone in the park together in one joyous symphony!

Families are invited to arrive at City Recital Hall 90 minutes prior to the performance for colouring in, games and activities in a pop-up play space on the ground floor.

For Justine Clarke fans, the performance will also conclude with some of her well-loved children’s music hits including Watermelon and Dinosaur Roar.

A lively musical adventure sure to delight and captivate, Mimi’s Symphony is recommended for ages up to 8 years old. Children under two years old are free when sitting on a guardian’s lap.
