Western Sydney (26)      Meet My Suburb (10)
Northmead is a small suburb in Western Sydney located next door to the thriving metropolis of Parramatta. It's only 26 kms from Northmead to the centre of Sydney. It was originally a farming area deriving its name from being the meadow (mead), north of Old Government House in Parramatta.
