A variety show for young children that will wow them from start to finish.

There’s a colourful, spectacular new show in town for kids! Kaleidoscope is a new, interactive children's show using a live band, dancers, circus performers and singers to deliver an important message.

Kaleidoscope is part of the famous Sydney Fringe Festival . It is a fully scripted show aimed at preschool and primary school aged children and fun for the whole family. Kaleidoscope tells the story of all the colours and shapes that live inside the kaleidoscope.

Not only does the show expose children to different forms of creativity, but it also portrays a message of kindness and tolerance through themes of anti-bullying, friendships and acceptance, regardless of differences.

Your children will be mesmerised by the colourful sights and sounds of the kaleidoscope, the interactive performances and be thrilled by audience participation - all while learning it’s ok to be different.

Kaleidoscope show will take place in Leichhardt at 4.30pm on Saturday 21st September and 11.30am on Sunday 22nd September. There will be also be one show only in Hurstville on Saturday 21st September at 10am.

The idea behind Kaleidoscope was inspired by the intimate and fun atmosphere of cabaret and vaudeville shows from previous generations.

Kaleidoscope was borne from a desire to create a family friendly version of these shows featuring dance, circus, musicians and variety acts, but with a strong message for children.

Kaleidoscope started off as a variety show to provide a platform for local performers to showcase their acts in a fun, non-competitive and supportive atmosphere.

The show features a high standard of acts by the best up-and-coming junior performers mixed with professional musicians, circus performers, actors and singers.

Kaleidoscope is also supporting Fly High Billie , a charity that works to spread kindness and tolerance, which are major themes of the show.

Fly High Billie founder Danny Mayson-Kinder will be at the Leichhardt show in person on Sunday, 22nd September with a range of workbooks for sale and information about the charity and the work they do among young people and at schools. There will also be information about the charity available at the shows.

Tickets are on sale now!

Don’t miss this fun, family Fringe Festival event and see your children marvel at the wonder of colour, shapes and live performance.
