Is it because he is teething?

Hi mums,

My 9mo has suddenly started waking up every hour at night. He has been a good sleeper until 6 months. I assumed it could be because of teething that his sleep started declining from 06 months.
From last 3 days...it has been worse as he is being tooo cranky, not eating his food, being fussy and waking up frequently at night.
Has anyone experiences the similar situatio .....any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
