Dear Mums,
I am in a situation and not able to decide what to do.
My husband and I both work in CBD.
We have 3yr old twins. We are permanent residents. Citizenship is half way through and we are just waiting for the ceremony in Feb 2021.
My MIL my twins (then 2 yr old) and I went for a holiday to India to visit my parents and grandparents.
After few days I had to came back to Australia for work.
I was hoping to go back, get my MIL visa renewal done, and bring back kids and MIL.
However the covid situation came up..and my kids are still in India. They look happy and cheerful. My parents and extended family are giving them lot of love, care and attention.
I really miss them. I'm not sure if I need to go back and get them? I am not in favour of putting them in childcare as they get sick every month even after attending a top notch corporate childcare.
Also I have to pay 80% of my salary to childcare if they go.
Leaving my job is not an option either as we both need to work to support our families and mortgage.
I really want my kids to be backwith me. My parents and inlaws will not be able to travel on visitor visa now.. I'm not not sure what to do?
Any suggestions? Please be considerate. Don't pass negative comments as I am already in pain.
