This is the premier event of the Hills District. Saturday is the biggest day of the festival, as Jay Laga'aia is hosting the Festival Stage, and there is also a huge parade at 2pm. And at the end of the night there will be a brillliant fireworks display at 8pm. On each day of this festival kids will love playing in Pippa's Playland, where there will be an animal nursery, sandpit, wildlife display and tumbletown to keep them amused. And adults will love gorging themselves with all the delicious food in Eat Street.

The Discovery Centre has just reopened after a major refurbishment and it's celebrating with a weekend full of fun activities for the whole family. There will be a Big Fun Science Show to wow the kids, then they can meet Winny the Dinosaur and play all sorts of backyard games too.
This very pretty family fun day is held in the Wisteria Gardens of the Cumberland Hospital. Children will love to bring out their inner Picasso by having fun plaster painting, and then they can run off some steam exploring the garden. Parents will be able to sample some of the best devonshire teas in Sydney and browse through the various market stalls.
This very tasty festival has loads of food on offer and celebrity chefs and gardeners to entertain the adults. And for kids, there is a Kid Zone where there will be rides, face painting, a petting zoo as well as a food discovery trail just for little people.
If you love everything about Japan, than you need to get your tribe to Chatswood on Saturday to immerse yourself in this beautiful culture. There will be food stalls, arts and crafts, performances and more on the day.
This awesome fair promises a full days worth of entertainment from robotics to fencing and more! Kids will love all of the fun in the kiddies corner as well as the cool rides which includes this year the Stunt Jump (if you dare)!
Forget paying to go to the movies with the whole family this weekend, as you can see two flicks for free at the Australian Botanic Gardens on Saturday evening. Dispicable Me 2 and Blended are showing. Popcorn and other treats will be for sale on the evening.
