Here is a roundup of awesome FREE events happening all over Sydney. From the City down to Cronulla, up to Chatswood and out to Camden - there's something happening everywhere. And the best bit is that they are all family friendly!
The Sydney Crochet Club meets weekly to learn crochet, meet other Sydney mums, and have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along!
If you have a family full of chocoholics you can spend the whole weekend sampling chocolate in every size, shape and form! Master chocolatiers such as Lindt, Guylian, Josophans Fine Chocolates, Callebaut and Darrell Lea will all be there, alongside Sydney's premier Dessert Kings - Adriano Zumbo, Christopher The (Black Star Pastry), Jean Michel Raynaud (La Renaissance Pastry) plus so many more. So make sure you all wear your stretchy pants!

Kids will love having a pony ride through the park, visiting the animal farm, learning some circus skills, having their face painted, practicing their ball skills with Little Kickers, or just chilling out to some cool tunes.
You can experience the delights of Taiwanese culture, cuisine and traditions at this two day festival. There will be face painting, puppet shows and folk dancing just for kids, as well as lots and lots of delicious food to eat!
This is Australia's largest kite flying festival - and all kids (big and small) love to fly kites! You can just go to watch or bring your own along. There will be kite making workshops, face painting, puppet shows, roaming entertainment as well as free dance workshops.
All along the pedestrian "Goods Line" that connects Central Station to Darling Harbour, will be family friendly activities to keep the whole brood entertained all day. From cardboard city making, to drawbots, table tennis competitions and food trucks, it's a great opportunity to get out and about and explore this fascinating part of the city.

Dust off your fairy wings as everyone who attends this fabulous day is encouraged to dress up! There will be balloons, face painting, pony rides, animals, jumping castle and other kids activities available. The day is held to raise awareness and funds for Kidswest, a local children's charity that raises funds for medical research.
This is the showcase event of the Camden Festival 2016. There will be face painting, a petting zoo, jumping castle, floral crown making and a "create your own high tea." And this is all held in the beautiful surrounds of Macarthur Park.
