This uber cool Northern Beaches pub is the place to be seen with your fambam. They have a great "gymnasium" where kids can play connect four, scrabble, bowling and more. They have special events for kids during the holidays, and their kids meals are delish.
2. THE RANCH Cnr Epping Rd & Herring Rd, North Ryde 02 9887 2411
A long standing family favourite, The Ranch has a great outdoor shaded playground, arcade machines, colouring in, jumping castle, the Ranchies Kids Club, and special Family Funday Sundays. There are both healthy and not so healthy options on the menu for little people including yummy desserts.
Don't be fooled by the wonky looking exterior of this pub as behind it lies a family friendly wonderland. There's a huge enclosed playground, loads of arcade games and a large rock climbing wall to keep kids of all ages entertained whilst you enjoy a vino or two.

4. THE HENSON 91 Illawarra Rd, Marrickville 02 9569 5858
With a kid's room complete with a ball pit and other great activities like a giant connect four, the Henson is a firm family favourite in the Inner West. They have pram parking, a "little free library" and more, to keep local families coming back again each week.
This pub is just about to get a brand new indoor play area (the old one was pretty good too). But the new one promises to be bigger and better than ever! Every weekend they have free kids entertainment from 1.00pm - 3.00pm, and they have a jumping castle as well to keep the rugrats entertained.
"A home away from home for Foodie Families," the Belrose is brilliant as it has the largest indoor soft-play playground of any of pub in Australia, with separate infant/toddler and kidsí play areas. And every Sunday from 1pm to 3pm there is face painting for the kiddies. Their menu for children in the restaurant is fairly stock standard, but their cafe menu offers up snacks like fruit cups, mini yoghurts, Le Snack cheese and crackers, and frozen youghurt.
Located right on Coogee Beach this is another uber cool pub that welcomes kids with open arms. Just like The Newport above (they have the same owners), the Coogee Pavilion has a cool kids play area with giant board games and colouring stations as well as family friendly activities on weekends and school holidays. The kids menu will get a thumbs up to.
This pub not only has a play area to keep kids occupied, but they also have one of the best line ups of school holiday activities that we have ever seen. They have a great kids menu, cupcakes and other sweet treats to keep little bellies full all day long.
This pub has been refurbished of late and it offers a cute and enclosed playroom for little people. Every Sunday is Kids Day with free face painting, balloon twisting and petting zoo. Their bistro offers up an Ankle Biter's Menu and you can choose for each meal to come with either chips or vegetables. Activity packs are also available for purchase to keep the offspring entertained at your table.
The outdoor play area here is absolutely fantastic! There's a big playground which is fully enclosed and there is also a backyard with a flying fox, spinning supernova and a climbing frame! The kid's menu has a mix of the good stuff and not so good stuff, so the fussiest of little appetites are well catered for.
