This sprawling nursery is definitely one of Sydney's best. With its 2.5 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, brightly coloured children's playground, delightful restaurant and gift shop, it is easy to spend quite a few hours here. During school holidays there are kids gardening classes and they also host special events such as Halloween evenings just for children.

All Flower Power Garden Centres in Sydney are family friendly but some of them take it to the next level like this centre at Mount Annan. This is due to the fact that their cafe welcomes families with open arms and hosts weekly activities for children such as superhero morning teas or cupcake decorating classes.

Another excellent garden centre that has a kids playground! Whilst it may not be the most modern of play areas, the kids will still be able to monkey around in there for a while whilst you enjoy a cuppa in the lovely cafe. Afterwards take them for a walk to see the koi ponds, or to pick up some new seedlings for your vegie patch.

Kids love visiting this hands on nursery because of the petting zoo! There are chooks, rabbits, guinea pigs and more to be found wandering around. Open daily, each child receives a free bucket of feed for the animals. There's also a kids play area and toy cars and trikes for kids to roam around the nursery in. They regularly host gardening classes for little and big people too.
