Spring has sprung so it's time to get outdoors with the family to give the garden and vegie patch an overhaul! Here's a list of some fantastic garden nurseries in Sydney that are super family friendly:

This sprawling nursery is definitely one of Sydney's best. With its 2.5 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, brightly coloured children's playground, delightful restaurant and gift shop, it is easy to spend quite a few hours here. During school holidays there are kids gardening classes and they also host special events such as Halloween evenings just for children.

All Flower Power Garden Centres in Sydney are family friendly but some of them take it to the next level like this centre at Mount Annan. This is due to the fact that their cafe welcomes families with open arms and hosts weekly activities for children such as superhero morning teas or cupcake decorating classes.

Whilst it may not be the most modern of play areas, the kids will still be able to monkey around in there for a while whilst you enjoy a cuppa in the lovely cafe. Afterwards take them for a walk to see the koi ponds, or to pick up some new seedlings for your vegie patch.

Kids love visiting this hands on nursery because of the petting zoo! There are chooks, rabbits, guinea pigs and more to be found wandering around. They regularly host gardening classes for little and big people too.
