Everyone loves a good fairy tale, a fairy party, or even fairy bread, but what about secret fairy spots in Sydney?
Not sure what I mean? Well, for something a little different,
Sydney Mums Group has done some research into all things fairy, across our city, and come up with the list below. You just have to check these fairy good places out with your kids!

Fairy Bower Rockpool - image credit: Sydney.com Destination NSW website
Fairy Bower Pool, Marine Parade, Manly
You may have heard of neighbouring Shelly Beach in Manly, but have you heard of the historic
Fairy Bower Rockpool? It was built in 1929 by local residents as saltwater bathing became popular along the coast.
The Pool is triangular in shape and the sculptures that line the rock edge are fairy-themed, known as
The Sea Nymphs or
The Oceanides.

Fairy Meadow Beach, Elliotts Road, Fairy Meadow
The southern suburbs of Greater Sydney boast some beautiful beaches and one of the most popular, for those in the know, is
Fairy Meadow Beach. It affords stunning views south to Wollongong, with views of the two light houses and harbour in the distance.
Located only 5kms from Wollongong city centre, and close by to the
Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort, this beach is accessible for families. It's also a dog-friendly beach with
Dog Time Share rules in play, so if you're planning a visit at the right time, bring your pet pooch (on-leash). There's also an off-leash dog beach area, south of the play equipment.

Fairy Bower Falls, Morton National Park, Bundanoon
Southern Sydney is sure doing well when it comes to the fairy best natural attractions, and this one is especially for
bushwalking families out there.
Fairy Bower Falls is a one-hour loop walk, starting at
Gambells Rest Picnic area (the Fairy Bower car park), in Bundanoon's Morton National Park. The walk is of medium/steep gradient, so come prepared with sturdy walking shoes, water and appropriate clothing for bushland. The walk offers beautiful waterfalls to admire, with the highlight being
Tooths Lookout and Fairy Bower Waterfalls. Maybe
this is where the Tooth Fairy lives!
