Jackie French and Bruce Whatley's favourite childhood picture book, a Diary of a Wombat, is being brought to life on stage in a fabulous performance full of puppetry and live music. The brilliant Monkey Baa Theatre Company have adapted the multi-award winning book, and will perform it on stage, in the April School Holidays at their Lendlease Darling Quarter Theatre HQ.
In case you don't know the story, a very cheeky wombat called Mothball becomes a tad bored with her life, so she wanders off in search of some tucker and a place to shelter. In doing so she wreaks havoc on the lives of the humans around her!
This delightful tale will have you falling in love with this most mischievous marsupial, and will captivate audiences over 3 years of age. The 45 minute long performance, will be the perfect way to introduce your children to the delights of live theatre.
