If you are anything like me, interior decorating is frustrating and confusing! Items go in and out of fashion so quickly that I soon find myself having to update the pillows on my couch after just 3 months.

Decorating your children’s rooms or nurseries can also be equally as frustrating especially if they are not yet able to express their likes and dislikes. Wall Art is one aspect of a child’s room that usually gets overlooked due to the complexity of finding the “right” piece.

There are so many options out there for wall art for children’s rooms but I find that some can be quite cliché and boring. If you are after something unique and Instagram worthy check out some of these great Australian companies producing amazing wall art for your little ones rooms:

Sprout and Sparrow

These ladies are a sister duo based in Melbourne, Australia who produce an extensive range of wall art for nurseries and children’s rooms. Their styles of prints range from scandi, illustrative and typography catering for both boys and girls. They also have a range of other cool products, my favourite being the “little lunch notes.” So if you are after something modern and simple these guys are worth checking out!

Toucan

This Sydney based online store have amazing affordable prints that range in sizes from A4 through to A1. These modern and simplistic prints are great to decorate your new nursery or to give to an expectant mum as a gift. A few designs can also be personalised which is a great option if you’re looking for something more meaningful.

Scandikid

If you are after something a little more illustrated then look no further. Scandikid is a Scandinavian inspired online store located in Perth, WA. Their posters are beautifully illustrated and remind me of a surrealistic inspired watercolour painting. These posters are sure to get your little ones imagination flowing.
