If you want to learn the basics of how to crochet, or if you are looking for a new hobby, this Crochet for Beginners class is for you!

Designed by Classie for those who have had little to no experience, these 3-hour classes in a CBD cafe will teach you how to wield a crochet hook and create something special.

The Sydney Crochet Club meets weekly to learn crochet, meet other Sydney mums, and have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along!

2. Make a Granny Square:

Throughout the class, your host will go through the basic crochet stitches, such as double crochet, treble crochet, chain stitch, slip stitch, their abbreviations and how to change colours while crocheting in the round. Learning the basic stitches will allow you to continue your crochet journey after the class.

"The class was a great introduction to crochet. Our host was very patient and gave each of us attention and instruction for our skill level. As a complete beginner, by the end of the class, I felt comfortable holding the hook and the yarn, and finished with a crochet bowl."

A complimentary standard-size non-alcoholic beverage is included as part of the class price.

When: Saturdays 10am. Please check the booking page for upcoming dates.

Where: CBD. Venue address is given in your booking confirmation email.

Price: $55
