There is no better time to learn to swim than RIGHT NOW!

Welcome to GOswim! This new learn-to-swim curriculum uses a fun, activity-based style of learning to engage children and teach them this essential skill for life.

City of Sydney GOswim program aims to put the fun back into learning to swim and keep children loving the sport for longer.

GOswim is a fun, effective swimming and water safety program focused on contemporary experiential and high-quality, activity-based learning. The program encourages and supports students to explore pathways into competitive and recreational lap swimming.

A major focus of GOswim is to help students learn and understand essential components of personal survival and water safety elements. At the same time, students will learn and master established, reliable and effective swimming techniques, helping them swim better and be safer in the water.

GOswim is available at the following City of Sydney Aquatic centres:

By implementing GOswim, each swimming school can integrate student learning outcomes into real-world settings easier, offering students the opportunity to:

Gain maximum participation and practise time in activities that encourage, mentor and support the learning process where they are active for most of the lesson.
Encourage and support students to explore competitive swimming with the City of Sydney Aquatic Club.
Feel supported by professional, qualified teachers as they progress through the curriculum.
Be empowered to think, discuss and decide through experiential-based learning where mentoring, guidance and challenge encourages them to use and enhance their knowledge, skill and understanding.

But most of all, GOswim is designed to be FUN! Plus, by enrolling at a City of Sydney Aquatic Centre you will also receive the below benefits:

Weekly lessons for 48 weeks a year indoor, or 22 weeks outdoor.
Ongoing enrolment, preventing the need to re-enrol each term and offering your preferred lesson time.
Year round aquatic access for students.
Free family summer swim, which gives you and your family 4 weeks of FREE family swim access during summer.
