The school holidays are an ideal time for children to spend a bit of extra time in the pool and fast-track their progress, plus keep fit and have fun too!
At the City of Sydney aquatic centre's School Holiday Clinics, they can work on advancing their skills and progress to the next stage as soon as possible, helping them become the best swimmer they can be.
'Fast Track' Swimming Clinics The City of Sydney holiday swim school intensive program is a great way to fast-track your child’s swimming abilities through daily repetition lessons.
The swim clinics take place for 30 minutes daily from Monday to Friday.Teachers plan fun, challenging and educational lessons which are limited to small groups with a maximum of just 5 swimmers.
Private lessons are also available – buy 4 get 1 free!
Each of the city’s five swim centres off specialty workshops that cater for children who want to improve specific skills, such as:
Starts – work on components of the dive ensuring nice streamline position on entry and be ready for the school carnival season
Turns & Finishes – cover all turns and finishes including individual medley
Stroke Specific – key fundamentals of specific strokes. Extra focus on areas such as kick, breathing or arms that will improve technique and proficiency.
