Congratulations you have survived the first week of the school holidays! Now it's time to tackle the second week head on. In case you are lacking in inspiration, here are some ideas of fun and free things to do with the kids:
The delicious Grandma's in Alexandria is hosting free cookie baking classes on Tuesday at 10am and 11.15am. Whilst the kids are getting their bake on, parents can sit back and enjoy one of Gandma's delicious menu items and a coffee. Make sure you book in advance!
This very arty workshop is to help kids of all abilities to create their own expressive art work collage. It is lead by an artist and is going to be held on Wednesday at 11am for an hour. Bookings are required.
If you are over cleaning up your kid's Lego, then let someone else do it at the Home HQ in Artarmon! From Monday to Friday this week there will be free building workshops from 10am - 2pm on the lower floor. And there are even prizes to be won!
Held from Tuesday to Saturday, kids will love seeing their favourite Angry Birds on stage at Westfield Miranda. The interactive shows are on at 11am,12pm and 1pm. They last for 30 minutes and will be held on Level 3 outside Uniqlo.
If these 5 ideas don't offer you any inspiration, then hopefully this list will.
