Blackmores is inviting nominations for the awards from now until Sunday, 24 February. These awards celebrate the women of Greater Sydney region and recognise the positive contributions caregivers, health leaders and advocates have made to their community.
The Sydney Crochet Club meets weekly to learn crochet, meet other Sydney mums, and have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along!
The winners will be announced at an International Women’s Day Gala Dinner on Thursday, 7 March. The dinner will feature guest speaker Sam Bloom, the 2018 Women’s World Adaptive Surfing Champion whose inspirational story is told through the best-selling book Penguin Bloom.
The awards are run by Blackmores, Australia’s leading natural health brand, in partnership with CCNB, trusted advisors in community health, aged care and disability.
There are five award categories, which are StrongBeing, ChangeBeing, CommunityBeing, YoungBeing, and the major winner will receive the Mercie Whellan WellBeing award.

After the success of their debut production of Shakespeares Twelfth Night, Fingerless Theatre is delighted to be doing a Shakespearean double-bill, with A Midsummer Nights Dream on Mon 25th of Feb, and The Tempest on Friday 24th of May.
