Are you looking for something to do with the family this weekend?

Here is a roundup of the awesome FREE events happening all over Sydney on Saturday and Sunday. From one end of the city to the other, and everywhere in between, there's something on for all members of the family.

Orange Blossom Festival - Castle Hill

Do you need an updated family portrait?
This is the premier event of the Hills District. Saturday is the biggest day of the festival, as Jay Laga'aia is hosting the Festival Stage, and there is also a huge parade at 2pm. And at the end of the night there will be a brillliant fireworks display at 8pm. On each day of this festival kids will love playing in Pippa's Playland, where there will be an animal nursery, sandpit, wildlife display and tumbletown to keep them amused. And adults will love gorging themselves with all the delicious food in Eat Street.

When: Saturday 10am - 8pm & Sunday 10am - 5pm

Museums Discovery Centre Opening Weekend - Castle Hill

The Discovery Centre has just reopened after a major refurbishment and it's celebrating with a weekend full of fun activities for the whole family. There will be a Big Fun Science Show to wow the kids, then they can meet Winny the Dinosaur and play all sorts of backyard games too.

Blooming Wisteria Festival- Parramatta

This very pretty family fun day is held in the Wisteria Gardens of the Cumberland Hospital. Children will love to bring out their inner Picasso by having fun plaster painting, and then they can run off some steam exploring the garden. Parents will be able to sample some of the best devonshire teas in Sydney and browse through the various market stalls.

This very tasty festival has loads of food on offer and celebrity chefs and gardeners to entertain the adults. And for kids, there is a Kid Zone where there will be rides, face painting, a petting zoo as well as a food discovery trail just for little people.

When: Saturday 11am - 5pm

If you love everything about Japan, than you need to get your tribe to Chatswood on Saturday to immerse yourself in this beautiful culture. There will be food stalls, arts and crafts, performances and more on the day.

When: Saturday 11am - 6pm
Where: Chatswood Mall, Chatswood

Barker College Spring Fair - Hornsby

This awesome fair promises a full days worth of entertainment from robotics to fencing and more! Kids will love all of the fun in the kiddies corner as well as the cool rides which includes this year the Stunt Jump (if you dare)!

When: Saturday 10am - 4pm

Gardeners Road Spring Fete - Rosebery

This is going to be a huge fete, with rides, market stalls, pony rides, petting zoo, jumping castle, giant slide and even a rock wall to climb!

When: Saturday 10am - 4pm

With lucky dips, showbags, crazy hair/nails/tatoos, as well as the usual amusement rides, your kids are going to love this school fete.

When: Saturday 10am - 3pm
Where: 39 Menin Rd, Matraville

Cinema Under The Stars - Mt Annan Botanic Gardens

Forget paying to go to the movies with the whole family this weekend, as you can see two flicks for free at the Australian Botanic Gardens on Saturday evening. Dispicable Me 2 and Blended are showing. Popcorn and other treats will be for sale on the evening.

When: Saturday from 6pm

Lets Go Greek Festival - Parramatta

This annual festival is the perfect day to experience the delights of everything Greek! From the food to the culture, the whole family is promised a delicious day. Kids will love the carnival rides, the freshly made loukoumades (aka Greek donuts) and the fireworks that will go BANG at the end of the night!

When: Sunday 11am - 6.30pm

Music by the River - Penrith

Pack the picnic basket and spend Sunday lazing by the river listening to some cool tunes. Food stalls will be available as well. Kids can have fun grooving the day away and making new friends.

Always a popular fete with the locals, there will be rides, show bags, cake stalls, live performances and even a high tea!

Where: Sunday 10am - 4pm
